Radar Verde Cerrado assesses the performance of meatpacking plants in the beef supply chain in the Cerrado region, analyzing these companies’ commitment to combating deforestation. The assessment is based on a single indicator: the Level of Commitment Against Deforestation.

Meat Packers Assessment
Radar Verde analyzes the Degree of Commitment Against Deforestation for each meat packer included in the study using questionnaires sent to the companies and data available on their websites. Below, in Table 1, we present the procedures for estimating the indicator.
